We love this restaurant, the quaint atmosphere, the food, and the overall experience. My husband likes to get the steak with monkey sauce, and my go-to is the dilled salmon dish with sweet potatoes. Complimentary wine is served with your meal, along with hometown service. This place is a jewel, don't miss it!
A varied menu from sandwiches and appetizers to full dinners is available. Because the wine is free, you can eat here for less than other places while enjoying great food!

Excellent quality food. The salmon is magnificent, as are all dishes on the menu but it is my favorite with the smoked chicken running a close second. Their traditional South African dishes are amazing. Sweet people, and the wait staff are precious. ❤️ Fun relaxed atmosphere to have a lunch date or night out with your friends. Great prices & complimentary wines. The deserts are a perfect finish, if you can even eat another bite it’s worth it. Also, there is live music most weekends.

True South African hospitality in a quaint little town. We were so happy we made the detour to find Liefie on our travels back home. Was wonderful to meet the Strydoms. Thank you for a fantastic lunch, we will be back for sure
Delicious food that is different, yet familiar enough not to be overly exotic. Lovely atmosphere. The patio can be enjoyed in many types of weather; sitting inside is enjoyable, as well. There are some kid-friendly options if you have young ones with you. There's enough variety on the menu to satisfy those meeting up for a lunch with the gals, or a casual or elegant date with your beloved or meet-up with friends. While not the least expensive place to eat, it's not the priciest, either, and it's a good value for the quality and variety of food. Highly recommend.
