Ray and I love McCrary's - wonderful old timey hardware store and if they don't have it they'll tell you where you an find it. They also are certified dealers for a lot of equipment large and small. We've had chain saws, weed wackers and mowers repaired there.
They have a VERY helpful staff that is always ready to find you that oddball part to whatever it is you're trying to fix. They have Stihl factory-trained technicians available to get your chainsaw or trimmer in top working order. One of the very few "old-fashioned" full-service hardware stores around. Whether you're working on plumbing, electrical, garden, or some otherwise-boring household chore, McCrary's likely has what you need. Saves trips to 20+ mile away stores in neighboring cities. McCrary's is a Winnsboro treasure!
Hopeless, rude, and never deal with them ever
This is a great small town hardware store where one can find almost anything they need. I love that you can buy one nail if that is all you need. The services for air-conditioning and lawn mower repair, and Stihl products is very experienced and friendly.
No complaints here - and you can buy your nails and screws by the ounce or pounds; anywhere from small to really big. They're loose in rows of bushel baskets and are weighed on an antique scale.
Gotta love living in the country in North East Texas!
